I have been working with Great Basin Institute since 2010. When I started as a crew member, I wasn’t sure what to expect but I was happy to be given an opportunity at conservation work right out of college. I fell in love with Great Basin Institute for their mission to help the environment but also for their willingness to help new graduates and none college goers get an opportunity to work conservation in the field. My hope is to stay with this great company in a position that allows me to be home with my family.

I attended and graduated from UNLV with a degree in Environmental Studies. After working at Great Basin Institute, conservation and restoration are my passion. When I’m not at work, I spend time with my husband Chris, my 8 year old daughter Trinity, and my 17 year old brother Tristan, who I am a guardian to. I’m from Vegas so I have my mother, sisters, and cousins near me. I love rockhounding and music. I have an amazing collection of fossils, crystals, and minerals; and ticket stubs and concert posters. I like to support my local jam bands and search out the local farmers markets. I’ve been a volunteer since I was a teenager. I’ve volunteered with Solar NV, FutureCity, GetoutdoorsNV.org, and LV Wash.
